1. The Building 1 elevators have been reinspected after adding additional weight to balance the cars. The cars passed inspection yesterday and both cars have been returned to service.
2. The Building 6 elevator modernization in very close to being halfway completed. The workers will begin the modernization of the Number 2 car in the next 1-2 weeks.
3. FasterIO, the company that will be providing us with our new television and internet service will be bringing our new equipment next week. We will store it in a metal storage container near the entrance so that the gate attendants can keep an eye on it.
4. Younique Pools, the company that will be performing the modernization of Pool #2 has completed the permit process with Broward County and will now complete the process with The City of Lauderhill. Once the Lauderhill permit is received, work at Pool #2 will begin.
   
5. If you wish to return as building governor for the 2026-27 year, please complete the form “Notice of Intent To Be a Candidate for Building Governor” that is on your desk in front of you and return it to Barbara or Louis this evening, or drop it off at the management office. You can also e-mail it to Ron’s e-mail address. The deadline to return this form is Friday, January 16th. 

 

If there are more candidates than seats available, we will need to hold an election in your building. Ron will advise if elections will be needed once we receive all the “Notice of Intent” forms are received.
